YES! SUMMER IS OFFICIALLY HERE FOR ME AND HOPEFULLY FOR U 2!
It’s gonna be a scorcher today, so I am kicking off the newsletter this week by giving you my yearly tradition - a summer vibes playlist - mainly composed of newer music/kinda obscure/just some good ol’ songs, but still #vibes, to say the least.
I usually make this for all my homies and pass it out on CD’s (those old playlists are linked below)…..soOOoOo this is my way of doing that on a larger scale for all u special ppl <3 xoxo

First things first: NEW ARTIST: Healy
This man really is not new. Healy is a singer/songwriter/rapper, and did I mention he graduated from med school in 2018? I accidentally found his music junior year of HS & he CONSISTENTLY DELIVERS but rarely drops. This year he’s released 2 singles, and received way more attention, sooooo I think he’s gonna drop an album soon, fingers crossed. The clips he’s been leaking on his IG are on. another. level. Keep your eyes out for this man especially if you like: Tobi Lou, Kota the Friend, Biskwiq, and Abhi the Nomad — all great artists check them out too.

Aminé - Riri - good, chill, not his best but would listen to it more than once

things it reminds me of: dusk hours during summer, driving w ur friends and not even having to talk, that cool feeling in the air from wet grass at the end of the day, the dryness of ur skin when ur tan and out of the pool (:
