I’m so glad we’re doing this again this week!! yay communication!! and thank you to all who have subscribed… and to those that haven’t……. it is …..ok? -.- haha jk! I don’t even keep track (I do) so I don’t even notice (i do notice) who is opening the emails and actively choosing to enjoy my hand-selected music and who isn’t. ah ahahaha — sike I’m kidding…again

Personally, I think I could develop a new crush every day, sometimes more than once in a day, and if you think that’s a problem, it probably is!

I feel like so many songs are written about love, but here are some of my favorites that remind me of how I feel when I think someone is so cute that it makes me spontaneously combust. I’m sure you have all felt this before and if you haven’t, I hope you do soon. AND if you forgot what that feels like, I hope this playlist refreshes your memory <3

if you would like to educate yourself on parts of the Black Lives Matter movement, some friends of mine (Erin Kane, Astrid Navarro, and Lexie Rollings) created a great google doc that addresses things to not do, how to protest, donate, petition, support, and they also include educational resources.
also, another friend, Cameron Lucky created a list of all the recommendations for books, movies, documentaries that have been circulating on Instagram posts, etc.

things it reminds me of: having a brand new crush that you kinda want to tell everyone about, butterflies in your tummy, glitter, when you have a really energetic conversation with a stranger cute or not, when little girls tell you that you’re pretty (bc u know they mean it), and all other feelings of brand new love.

honestly, all the songs are moderately slow and sad so order doesn’t matter as much but I structured them to flow a little so - you should listen in order.
it reminds me of: gloomy days, driving in the car and nothing is going through your head, laying so flat on your bed you feel like you have sunken into the mattress, powder blue, those sad poems you see all over pinterest and twitter (but not the rupi kaur ones)
I really enjoyed making this one, I hope you enjoy it too… but not too much bc I DON’T WANT YOU TO BE SAD!!!
