Week 6 - Changing the Vibe

so what it's a little late! it's still here!!

Hello all,

Recently I’ve felt like my routine has been a little repetitive lately, and it’s fun to break those sorts of things every once in a while so this week i’m giving you a whole different vibe.

so…….. i’m hoping Michael Cera makes u feel some typa way?? And if not, I hope u like alternative rock type of music because the theme this week is a playlist I curated to make Scott Pilgrim Fall in Love w Me 💖💖 if it were possible.

BUT!! If you don’t know who Scott Pilgrim is… Wikipedia explains he is “a bass guitarist for a garage-rock band, [and] Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) has never had trouble getting a girlfriend; usually, the problem is getting rid of them”

The movie Scott Pilgrim VS. The World (one of my top 10 fav movies) is about Scott Pilgrim’s life when Ramona Flowers skates into his heart, but he finds she has the most troublesome baggage of all: a list of exes who will stop at nothing to eliminate him from her list of suitors.

Hope I’ve convinced you to watch it now but maybe the playlist will!!

If you like Choker, Frank Ocean, or Daniel Caesar, listen to BRANDON…..,., & for all my inland empire ppl he is from Riverside so that’s cool (: Once COVID is all over and done with i want to be first in line for a live performance of his. i desperately need to see him live. His voice is so soothing & i recommend listening to Makeup (below) or Equinox, first.

PODCAST RECOMMENDATION ALERT!

kinda weird but i’ve listened to this podcast multiple times bc i thought it was funny and forced other ppl to listen to it. I’m including this portion because the podcast is Michael Cera (aka our man of the hour this week) and Jonah Hill talking about Superbad, their careers, and just funny stories. Definitely recommend.
