Goooooood afternoon to all you sweet sweet subscribers!!
Since One Direction honored their 10 yr anniversary yesterday (sending love to u directioners) I want to ask you, what were you doing 10 years ago today? I really only remember swimming in my pool and eating quesadillas. Little did I know, I was also singing some of the best songs and storing them deep inside my brain for a playlist that never gets old. Based on these recent events I felt inspired this week for a much needed summer throwback.

^^^^^just getting warmed up for the rewind
but before we get to that: I’m going to start trying to incorporate other genres into the newsletter because that’s what this should be about right?? Let me know if there is any vibe u think I should check out or anything alright!! and also let me know if you hate what i’m doing because I live for your approval <3.
SO MUCH NEW MUSIC. LIKE SO MUCH.
I indicated the genre with the asterisks **
HEALY: Second Wind - please and thank you. my life will be complete when this musical genius drops an album. it’s not a want, but a need. go listen NOWWW *rap*??? ish *r&b*
TAYLOR SWIFT: Folklore. a whole album. with no warning. my honest opinion? mature and mellow, but I like it? still processing but overall I think it’s very good. A very different vibe of hers but I’m digging it. Very tranquil. I said when I heard her last album Lover, I felt like she was in a better place and I think this followup album is proof she has grown into the woman she wants to be. I’m proud of her & support it! *pop* w/ *folk-country* ish
ROLE MODEL: Blind - this man doesn’t disappoint. Love it & a music video too? just all-around perfect. *indie*
THOMAS HEADON: Focus - a little more of a speaking rap sound going on but love the chorus. I think he’s a less cliche Ed Sheeran mixed with more teen boy indie feel. give it a listen. I approve. *indie*
BOY PABLO: honey & JD’s song - another artist who is teasing an album drop (already preordered the vinyl hehe) his music is always great. Nothing has topped Hey Girl yet though but I’m okay with that. *indie*
KYLE: See You When I am Famous!!!!! - I’m sorry, this album is not worth mentioning. Besides his only redeeming song: Girls, which uses melody/chorus from Beastie Boys and features Rico Nasty aka the only reasons I like it besides him mentioning being a libra (my star sign <3). don’t bother listening. *rap*
OLIVER TREE: Ugly is Beautiful - nice album, nice artist, nice rock is what i like to call it. Like reminds me of when I used to listen to All American Rejects, Green Day, etc. Definitely for times when you want to be upbeat or even angry. Also, he dropped a collab with Blink 182 soooooo !!!!! I really like the entire album, definitely recommend. *rock*
KANYE: ironic him and Taylor have the same drop dates #throwback. By the time this email is hitting your inbox maybe his album will be out?? i keep checking but nothing yet; therefore, no opinon.
alright… playlist time (:
